In order to be an enterprise possessed of both strength and gentleness...
It was our company Kobelco Construction Machinery that in 1930 made Japan's first domestically-produced construction machinery. In our subsequent history spanning nearly 80 years we have at all times met the diverse changes in our business environment with boldness in tackling new tasks, armed with a spirit of challenge and pioneership.
Today, we have accomplished growth into the world's number three construction machinery group thanks to a comprehensive worldwide tie-up with CNH Global, one of the world's foremost manufacturers of construction and agricultural machines. This has established a system able to offer products and services backed by even higher-level technology and quality to users in Japan and throughout the world, inspiring even greater trust than before.
Our principle handed down in unbroken succession since our founding is "primacy for the user on the ground". Guided by that principle, in recent times we have been able to send forth into the world construction machinery with high environmental performance in terms of energy conservation, ultra-low noise levels and other features.
Further, that principle has broadened beyond products into consideration for all our stakeholders. We will engage with the utmost effort in every area of our competence in order to create "products", and to be a "company" and "employees", that our stakeholders can trust far into the future and that are the ones that users choose. By engaging in activities suited to our abilities, working to build the dots that those activities constitute into solid lines, then doggedly developing those lines to form planes, we are confident we will figure prominently in the picture that emerges in the times ahead. Our intention is to act with concern for the "present", so as to cultivate an affluent "future". For the sake of the Earth, the community and human beings, the Kobelco Construction Machinery Group aims to engage in CSR activities steadfastly and continuously, continuing to be an agile enterprise possessed of both strength and gentleness. |
